Healthy Wealthy & Wise

Vince Lombardi once said, “The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.”

If you take a look at some of the world’s greatest athletes, most successful entrepreneurs, or anyone who has mastered their craft, you will find that they made a firm commitment to daily excellence. Constantly striving for excellence in every area of your life is ultimately what will determine the quality of your life, no matter what you do for a living.

Every week, I am fortunate to be surrounded by some of the world’s most extraordinary achievers. Being surrounded by these men and women opens my eyes to how they differentiate themselves from the rest of the population. I am referring to the KWP Staff and our Valued Clients.

Excellence is not about how much money is in your bank account or what kind of car you drive. Excellence is about waking up each morning and declaring that you will do your best at everything you do and be better than you were the day before. This is just what separates these extraordinary achievers, by whom I am surrounded, from everyone else.

Each of our team members is committed to personal excellence and to serving our clients beyond the status quo. The King Wealth Planning Mission, Guiding Values and Guiding Spirit are living documents we uphold with unwavering dedication.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our Clients for being extraordinary. We are proud to serve such wonderful people who are committed to excellence in every aspect of life and we are inspired daily by such great examples of wisdom, compassion and joy.

Best Regards,

Wayne Williams is officially retired!  Thank you all who came to his retirement open house and wished him well! He’s doing great. The KWP team went to visit him in early September and had a lovely time at the Villages, Wayne’s home. We all miss you Wayne! You sure left some big shoes to fill!

Please join us in congratulating our Client Services Manager, Drew Bogue, in passing the General Securities Representative Exam!  This 6-hour test, also known as the Series 7 exam, is administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).  This qualifies Drew to accept securities trades on behalf of our clients and work towards becoming an Associate Wealth Advisor with the firm.

If you don’t already know, Paul likes to run…and run…and run.  He just completed a 50 kilometer trail run from Stinson Beach to the Golden Gate Bridge and back over to Rodeo Beach in just under 6.5 hours and took first place among the age 50+ runners.

Congratulations Wayne, Drew and Paul!

Leaders in our Community

Many of our Clients are contributing to the community and leading with compassion. Here are two that have been recently recognized for their labors of love:

Good Karma Bikes (Jim and Laura Gardner) is Ranked the #1 Bike Shop in Silicon Valley by the community. Good Karma Bikes is a nonprofit social enterprise full-service bike shop which reinvests earned revenue into programs targeting at-risk and emancipated foster youth as well as those whose bicycle is their primary means of transportation.

The Junior League of San Jose recognizes Eric Drew for his work with the Eric Drew Foundation which advocates for and supports adult acute Leukemia patients.

Thank you Jim, Laura, and Eric for all you do!
